September news round up
Two bank refurbishments, new serviced apartments planned and still time for some charity fund raising!
Double time for Barclays
The completion of two Barclays bank refurbishments are a welcome sight after 6 weeks of night shifts. Both banks in Mansfield and Kings Heath have remained open and fully functioning during the refurbishments.
New Serviced apartments rise from The City
Straight off the back of their success in Manchester, Belair and Claremont have joined forces again to build the much needed Serviced Hotel Apartments in a prominent location opposite to the Trent FM Arena in Nottingham's City Centre.
While Nottingham City Council is crying out for more hotels, Belair will be launching the serviced apartments at the end of 2012.
Belair steps all the way for Cancer Research
Claudine Irwin from our Nottingham Office will be stepping out to take part in the London Shine Walk on 1st October 2011. Walking the 26 mile London marathon route, Claudine is determined to raise £2,000.00 for Cancer Research and will be hoping to complete the walk in less than 8 hours.
UPDATE: Claudine successfully reached her target of raising £2000.00 and has so far raised a staggering £2027.00.
Claudine's justgiving website is still open for donations to this very worthy cause. www.justgiving/claudine-irwin.co.uk
Belair Climbing to great heights
The Belair team joined forces for a friends and family challenge to climb Snowden earlier this year. The challenge was hampered by torrential weather conditions, forcing 6 of the climbers back 2/3rds of the way up, leaving the hardy 10 remaining climbers aged between 10 and 50 to battle the elements and raise the Ikon flag. The climb was a sponsored challenge and huge thank you to those sponsors who helped raise a grand total of £740.00 for the Nottingham Breast Cancer Unit.
